The New English pottery company with Denise O’Sullivan as tutor brought us: Tectonic Plates. A great opportunity for the community to become involved in a large project to create a collection of art plates that are designed to be displayed on the wall, rather than used as tableware. Groups took part in creating designs for their own plates, and some of the finished articles will be included in an exhibition and book.

Alex is a professional Potter based in Stoke on Trent. He works in a variety of ways to produce pottery of all kinds and potential uses. Known for his very large pieces :) Alex and our learners embarked on a six week journey, which took them from having no previous pottery experience, to producing some stunning pieces of pottery in such a short space of time. We're very proud of their achievements!
